We would like to invite you to our next legal seminar on the 27th June at the Grange City Hotel in London. We are excited to be teaming up once again with Silver Shemmings Ash LLP solicitors for the next in a series of seminars aimed at increasing your knowledge base, improving your work processes, and giving you the tools you need to make your business as efficient and effective as possible. We have had excellent feedback from previous seminars and feel that they are very beneficial for our members.
The topic will be Construction Disputes & How To Avoid Them, focussing on how disputes over payments and other contractual matters can be dealt with to avoid risk to your business and how to deal with disputes should they occur. This will be run by BITA board member and SSA solicitor Henry Hathaway who is not only a specialist in contract law, but also spent 12 years as a structural engineer and project manager in the industry.
This seminar is one of a series that will form an invaluable ‘pocket’ guide for construction professionals for use in your everyday work. We are delighted to announce that this valuable workshop is free to BITA members and associates.
There will be a Q&A session both at the end and throughout the seminar and you are invited to contact either Julie Camp or myself with questions that you would like to be addressed and answered.
This event is on the 27th June at the Grange City Hotel, 8 - 14 Coopers Row, London, EC3N 8BQ from 4.30 - 6.30. There is a broad spectrum of attendees which range from funds to developers to contractors and designers, and we hope that you’ll join us afterwards for a drink and some networking at the Hung Drawn and Quartered!
