Meeting with Irish Ministers

BITA Ltd President and Founder, Paul Whitnell, met with Irish ministers on the morning of the 5th August 2016. The aim of this meeting was to discuss ways in which BITA could help create jobs and growth opportunities in Irish and UK businesses. BITA was founded in 2012 and our continued mission to strengthen ties between UK and Irish business, help people connect, and fuel growth across all industries is one that we believe passionately in.We have been growing quite rapidly ourselves, with an ever expanding membership base and frequent sell-out events, and this has fuelled growth for our members. BITA have been responsible for many relationships and contracts, creating wealth and jobs in the process.

  • The tender process resulting in a £500k deal for Tippo International
  • The relationship which resulted in a £1m contract for Project Partners with Arora International
  • Introductions between high quality Irish candidates and MCM Insurance and Accumen which resulted in job offers in the UK

These are as just a few of our success stories. BITA really does make a difference to business.

The Irish Ministers certainly agreed. After a very successful meeting where Paul spoke about job creation opportunities, potential for innovation and the values and mission of BITA, we have received an official endorsement from the Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation, Mary Mitchell O’Connor TD.We are very pleased by the recognition of all of our hard work, and hope that this will lead to further growth and opportunities for our members.
