Business recognised at BITA awards at the Savoy

The 20th October saw the Savoy play host to the British and Irish Trading Alliance’s annual Gala Ball and awards ceremony. The British and Irish Trading Alliance is a non-profit membership organisation working to promote and grow UK and Irish businesses, and to increase trade and friendship between both countries.

Guests arrived from 6.30 dressed to impress for the Venetian Masquerade Ball, with masks, feathers and finery as far as the eye could see. Jugglers, a string quartet and contortionist welcomed the attendees, and they were soon enjoying live opera, incredible food and wine.

The highlight of the evening was the awards ceremony where BITA recognise and highlight the accomplishments of members and their businesses throughout the year. The winners of the awards were BITA Supporter: Silver Shemmings Ash, Small Business: Work and Wear Direct, Growing Business: LDD Construction, Business to Business: J G McCoy Engineering, Socially Conscious Business: Premier Contract Supplies, and the Lifetime Achievement award was given to Danny Tim O'Sullivan for his work in business and the community.

DRS Bond Management sponsored the evening, and Blu-3 and Site Operative Solutions sponsored the awards and the wine.

BITA looks forward to welcoming guests to their Awards and Gala Ball in 2019!
